Daria Dec
Since 2015, I have been a certified cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist, and from 2009 to 2017, a psychiatry resident. Since 2018, I have been leading a project called ‘Spacerologia’—a form of psychotherapy conducted during walks in the forest at the Tricity Landscape Park in Gdynia. I am also expanding my knowledge and experience in the field of forest bathing. As a psychotherapist, I specialize in anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, psychosomatic disorders, and personality disorders. I work within the ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) framework.
Also since 2018, I have been involved in the ‘Baza Marzeń’ project—a forest kindergarten for free children, where I act as a staff mentor, lead training sessions, circles, and individual consultations.
Since 2022, I have been co-creating ‘Zagajnik,’ a democratic forest school in Gdynia.
I am the mother of three ‘forest children,’ who have inspired me to understand the importance of nature for mental health.
In my free time, I strive to gain knowledge in permaculture and apply it to my garden, as well as practice it as a philosophy of wise living.
